No Greater Story!

Are you excited for Spring Harvest 2025? Are you missing us already? Here’s something to get you excited for next April. Next year our theme is NO GREATER STORY. We’re excited to be heading into a theme that will take us through three years, rediscovering our Great God, his Great Commandment and Great Commission.

Anglican clergyman and Bible translator, JB Phillips famously wrote the classic book, ‘Your God is too small,’ over 40 years ago. John Young then wrote the book, ‘Your God is still too small.’ If AW Tozer (Christian author and Pastor) was right when he said, ‘What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us,’ then a too small view of God is problematic! The world we live in makes it easy for us to feel dwarfed by its challenges.

“It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple.” Isaiah 6:1

In a year of national and personal tragedy, Isaiah had a vision of God that was GREATER than he, or those around him, had yet grasped. Isaiah’s view of who God is, his readiness to embrace the story of God and his willingness to step into his part in that story, changed everything. His journey gives us a ‘time traveller’ view of the GREATER story of God: creation, fall, redemption and perfection.

In 2025, we are seeking a fresh vision of who God is, so we can embrace the GREATER story he is working out for our world, and be ready and willing to play our part in it.
