Skegness Resort News - Splash Waterworld

Please note: this important news is regarding Skegness Resort and the 2024 event ONLY.

We have been made aware that due to essential maintenance, some sections of Splash Waterworld in Skegness will be closed. We had hoped it would be ready for Spring Harvest but unfortunately the work will not be finished and the large swimming pool will not be in action.

Please don’t worry! The following areas remain open and as much fun as ever: 

• Rockpool Cove Paddling Pool (all under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult)
• Family Riptide Raft Ride (suitable for 3+yrs, over 1m)
• Outdoor River Rapids (suitable for 5+yrs, over 1.2m)
• Vortex (suitable for 8+yrs, over 1.2m)
• Jetstream fast flume (suitable for 10+yrs, over 1.2m)

To keep it as much fun as possible, you will need to go to a booking point on resort and book a session within the opening times specified. (*Details below.)

We understand the partial closure may be disappointing for some, but we’ve been working hard with Butlin’s to make sure everyone can have plenty of fun. 

Why not glide your way around the exciting ice-rink? Just for this year, you can enjoy ice-skating sessions completely free of charge. There’s no need to book, just turn up between midday and 10pm and enjoy yourself (swimwear not required!)

In addition, every paying guest coming to Spring Harvest for the whole event, will receive a £5 voucherin their welcome pack. This can be spent anywhere on resort – including refreshments, activities and the Spring Harvest bookshop. As a cash equivalent, you can use it towards a moment of delight, whether that be go-karting, bowling, coffee, ice-cream or books. 

However you spend it, here’s to a happy holiday.

*Splash Opening Details for Spring Harvest 2024:

All swimming sessions will begin at half-past the hour and last for 75 minutes. Due to limited space, the viewing gallery will be closed.

We ask that you book no more than two sessions initially so that everyone has an opportunity to swim. You may find further sessions available later in the week. 

Remember that if you book a session and don’t turn up, then others may be disappointed.

Monday 1.30-6.45pm and 8.30-10.45pm

Caravan Village Reception - Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm
