If you are booked to come to Spring Harvest as a guest and have a passion for the creative arts, we would love you to join our Creative Arts Team as a volunteer.
You would be supporting the team in enabling our guests to express themselves through the medium of arts and crafts. This role is essential for the smooth running of the Creative Studio.
Role Description
WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING:
Helping to unpack the crates of art materials and set-up the arts venue at the start of Spring Harvest.
Checking that felt pens and glue sticks are working and sharpening pencils and crayons.
Directing guests to the day’s activities list.
Assisting guests to find what they need to create their art.
Tidying as the day goes on, clearing tables, washing brushes, changing bin liners etc.
Helping with ‘pack down’ on Thursday as everything is counted and crated - lots of help needed!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Lots of stamina and a willingness to do whatever is needed - even it's just mopping up a spill!
Some knowledge of art supplies would be helpful but not essential.
A cheerful ‘can do ‘attitude and an ear to listen. People will often chat as they create.
To be ready to help out as required.
YOU MUST BE:
Over 18 years of age.
A committed Christian, regularly and actively involved in a local church.
Willing and able to complete an online registration form.
Able to provide details of someone in leadership of the church you are currently attending who can provide us with a referee.
Happy to serve within the EA Basis of Faith and Lausanne Covenant.
You will need to make your own arrangements for accommodation and food by booking as a guest to attend Spring Harvest, either with Butlin's or as a day visitor.
