Spring Harvest really is an event for everyone and we aim to make as much of the programme as we possibly can accessible to all. At the event, all the children and youth groups have a dedicated Additional Needs Co-ordinator with a small team who do all they can to ensure every child can get the most out of their programme. There will also be a consultant on hand to help you find BSL, braille, wheelchair access, sensory profiles and more. We are so grateful for all the expertise and dedication these wonderful people bring, most as volunteers. Butlins also produce a guide to their facilities for people with disabilities, which you can pick up at Guest Services.
Count Everyone In at Minehead Two
In 2021, we will be joined by our friends from Count Everyone In at Minehead Two, 10-15 April. This may be a new name to some but you’ll recognise faces from previous years with Prospects and Livability. There’s already a buzz as we plan for Minehead Two. We’ll offer a warm welcome to everyone at the daily celebrations, especially if you’re an adult with learning disabilities. What can you expect? Fun, friendship and a faith-filled programme. Social distancing won’t stop us getting close to God in worship and praise. There will be drama, flags, signing, prayer, Bible teaching and laughter but also awesome God-filled silences as the Holy Spirit moves among us. What have others said about Count Everyone In?
“CEI have been brilliant in showing ways in which a disability is no barrier to worship and in supporting churches and families to make the gospel more accessible to all.”
“The welcome, the worship and the pure joy is something that it is such a privilege to be a part of.”
