Offering update, Spring Harvest 2021 and more

Dear Friends and Spring Harvest family,

Thank you for your ongoing prayers, support and interest.

A week ago I shared with you that we were just £70,000 short of our minimum target of £1.5 million to ensure the future of Spring Harvest and the ministry of Essential Christian.

As of this morning, that gap is down to just £25,000 – we are almost there! Thank you to the thousands who have already given and if you can help us reach this vital goal, please do donate.

Looking to the future, our Board and Planning Group have been seeking God about the future of Spring Harvest and Essential Christian. We want to learn from the remarkable challenges and blessings of recent weeks. It is clear that the future will be different, with more focus on online delivery. But we remain totally committed to gathering together physically and we’ll keep you up to date as things develop.

Specifically regarding the 2021 events, with the help of your donations, we are pressing ahead with prayerful planning. However, until guidelines and legal restrictions become clearer, we won’t be able to confirm venues, dates and details. Provisionally, we hope to open booking lines in September, and of course, we’ll let you know as soon as we have a final decision.

Meanwhile, we have lined up some half-term treats at Spring Harvest Home. Bob Hartman will be leading daily devotions, the Big Start is back and over 250 sessions are still available to view. Watch sessions on YouTube anytime – and especially at half term from 25th May.

Finally, with the holiday season still looking rather uncertain, our friends at Spring Harvest Holidays are inviting everyone to join their prayer day on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May. Watch out for more information next week.

With a grateful heart,

Peter Martin
