Tech intern

Spring Harvest believes all ages should have a great experience in every venue. We have a dedicated team of professional engineers who work long hours to make this a reality.

We are looking for skilled and willing interns, aged 18 and above, to expand our high-quality technical provision. You could be helping in one venue, or covering several, to assist the senior engineering team. You may also be covering sessions on your own. By supporting the team in this way you get valuable experience of contributing to live events whilst receiving mentoring and guidance.

We are looking for competence in the following areas:

  • Sound
  • AV
  • Lighting
  • Camera operatives

Although training will be given, you should demonstrate a knowledge of understanding of the following areas:

    • Basic knowledge of digital sound desks
    • Basic knowledge of computers and projectors
    • Live AV and/or PA experience is desirable
    • Setting up and packing down of technical equipment
    • Ability with operating ProPresenter a bonus
    • Operating cameras (zoom, focus, record)
    • Be willing to learn and give your best, potentially for long hours

We advise that anyone taking up the post would need to be fully accepting of the Christian content of the event.

Benefits for you

    • You will get to showcase your skills alongside professionals and a leading UK production company
    • Experience shadowing a professional live events engineer
    • A pre-site training day and further training on-site
    • The chance to be part of the wider team and build relationships with those having similar interests
    • Access to the Spring Harvest programme – both where placed and in free time.
    • You will receive free accommodation and food for the duration of your placement at the Spring Harvest event, and your travel expenses will be covered to a capped amount of £80
