Tech intern

Spring Harvest believes all ages should have a great experience in every venue. We have a dedicated team of professional engineers who work long hours to make this a reality.

We are looking for skilled and willing interns, aged 18 and above, to expand our high-quality technical provision. You could be helping in one venue, or covering several, to assist the senior engineering team. You may also be covering sessions on your own. By supporting the team in this way you get valuable experience of contributing to live events whilst receiving mentoring and guidance.

We are looking for competence in the following areas:

  • Sound
  • AV
  • Lighting
  • Song words operatives

Although training will be given, you should demonstrate a knowledge of understanding of the following areas:

  • Basic knowledge of digital sound desks
  • Basic knowledge of computers and projectors
  • Live AV and/or PA experience
  • Setting up and packing down of technical equipment
  • Ability with operating song words a bonus
  • Be willing to learn and give your best, potentially for long hours

We advise that this role will be most enjoyed by those who have a Christian faith, any anyone taking up the post would need to be fully accepting of the Christian content of the event

You must be available for one or more Spring Harvest breaks, 4th – 9th April or 13th – 17th April at Minehead. 13th – 17th April at Skegness. Please indicate your preference.

Successful applicants will be invited to a training day in Reading. We have a limited number of spaces and not everyone invited to the training day will have the chance to complete the role. However, we hope to open up more spaces in the future.
